![]() ![]() I looked around my WOWS directories and found only about 3.5 GB of update files, which I presume will be installed tomorrow. That, or uninstall a game or video file or two (videos, especially, are real space takers). You can run CCleaner to clear out temporary files and also pull some less-used data files off the computer onto a thumb drive or the "cloud" but if you are that starved for space you really need to add a new drive or replace the one you have with a bigger one. Like others have also said, if your hard drive is nearly full this also can cause problems. Whenever my system gets a bit laggy it's almost always due to a Windows update needing to finish installation, which usually requires a reboot or two. If your computer is starting to lag it's probably not WOWS, unless the update download process itself is causing it due to your having slow internet service. Now after an update that file remains empty w/the WGC system in place.& my computer is starting to lag out big time & I'm left to assume that those files are still being generated every update.I just don't know where they are hiding so I can eliminate them.Īny help hunting them down would be deeply appreciated. With the old launcher whenever there was an update.you could immediately go into the "UPDATE" files (located in the same place as the screenshots & replays) & all the left over trash (torrent files/etc) were right there to delete & know that the garbage was cleaned out.
